Abandoned Passenger Train | Indiana Countryside | Urbex Photography - jhumbracht

A photographer friend told me about this abandoned passenger train not far from where I live, and I've been here a couple times to shoot it in different lighting. The last time I creeped myself out because there was a loud thumping on top of one of the cars I was in, almost like someone was walking on top of it. The noise kept getting closer to where my tripod was set up. I fled...quickly. That sort of thing happens often when I'm in abandoned places, and most likely the noises are caused by pieces of the building falling or shifting, wind, or animals. That doesn't mean they don't make me a bit uneasy, especially when I'm by myself.
