Today we took a trip to The Belize Zoo just outside Belize City. One of the better zoos I have visited to date. All the animals are native to Belize, and all are either born there or rescues. It is fairly small but it doesn’t feel that way, and we spent around four hours wandering the grounds.
Another Maya ruin site checked off the list! Today it was Cahal Pech, which is only a 10 minute walk uphill from downtown San Ignacio, Belize.
