Another Maya ruin site checked off the list!  Today it was Cahal Pech, which is only a 10 minute walk uphill from downtown San Ignacio, Belize.  It’s quite different from its nearest counterpart, Xunantunich, which is much more open space with El Castillo, the temple, dominating the site. The Green Iguana Conservation Project | San Ignacio Resort Hotel | San Ignacio, Belize
