I headed out around 6am while it was still pitch black, with glaring lights bouncing off the streets flooded with a 24-hour rain. It was damn cold but I was prepared! My plan was to catch the rising sun's light off of different buildings, or whatever else crossed my eyes. But the sun had other plans and was shy, hiding behind a chilly winter haze.
There was a very brief blue hour, which luckily I had just parked on Woodward, next to a parking lot which caught some nice reflections, and was able to snap a few shots. From there I wandered toward the Detroit River and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the city on a early winter morning.
