Take Highland Street west of Woodward Ave in Highland Park, Michigan, and you will find a forgotten neighborhood. There are blocks of abandoned buildings, including schools, apartment complexes, hospitals, police & fire stations, and more. 70 Highland Street is a Moorish-style apartment building in Highland Park. One of several abandoned apartment buildings on Highland street, this one stands out because of its orange brick and unusual layout. The remaining apartment buildings on the block are disappearing fast. (source)
