It was July 2020 and Michigan was in month four of COVID-19 lockdown. I was spending most of my “down time” in downtown Detroit, taking pictures of the eerily empty streets. Simply documenting the empty streets of Detroit was my intention on this particular evening.
Then I saw the lights come on at Comerica Park. For whatever reason, I had no idea that the Tigers were playing baseball again, because of the pandemic. Nevertheless, I was able to get the drone up as the sun was going down, capturing a monumental Detroit Tigers game with no fans in the stands during the Covid-19 pandemic.
