Our New Home in San Ignacio, Belize

Well we found a place to stay rather quickly…at least for a month or so.  At our first stop in Corazol I struck up a conversation with a gentleman who managed the hotel we were staying at, The Copperhorse Inn.  He knew a guy in San Ignacio, a town that was already on our radar as a place to check out, that had a bungalow in the hills of the jungle of Georgeville, just outside San Ignacio.

Our Jungle Bungalow

Our hosts are awesome!  Carlton is from Belize and his wife Barbara is from Switzerland.  They own a cool, handmade jewelry/Rastafarian shop in town and have been so hospitable from the beginning.  Here are photos of native plants from the grounds around their land…
