Today we took a trip to The Belize Zoo just outside Belize City. One of the better zoos I have visited to date. All the animals are native to Belize, and all are either born there or rescues. It is fairly small but it doesn’t feel that way, and we spent around four hours wandering the grounds.

We toured the Green Iguana Conservation Project yesterday to check out the grounds of the San Ignacio Resort and take pics & learn about the conservation efforts in Belize. A “cold front” moved through today and brought a bit of intermittent rain, but I was able to take a short drive and snap some pics.
