I had such a peaceful time shooting Cataract Falls at sunrise, I decided to return the following evening to capture dusk images of frozen Cataract Falls.
The photo above is a 3-image panorama, each exposed at 30 seconds.
Besides a small group of people that were there when I arrived at the falls, this kayaker was the only other person present. Actually this kayaker and her partner, who accidentally got his hand wet and had to get out due to the extreme cold. She was just letting the waterfall’s current gently twirl the boat around in circles.
View my images of the upper falls in my previous post.
Also check out my images of another Indiana waterfall, McCormick Creek.
